2009 LV and Marc Jacobs Bags

The Marc Jacobs' handbags are looking more and more like the Louis Vuitton bags. Here are some bags from their Fall 2009 Ready To Wear runway shows (photos from style.com).

The satin quilted hags, for example, a hobo with a chain, similar to the one in the picture is $1850 at Bergdorf Goodman.

Do check out the Marc Jacobs handbags at Barneys; some of them are really nice. For example, the Memphis Pouchette (leather clutch) sells for $695 (see photo below from Barneys). The Memphis Robert Debbie is also a cute leather bag at $995 (see photo below from Barneys).

Cannot find most of the Louis Vuitton Fall 2009 RTW collection of handbags for sale at the Louis Vuitton website yet. But you might want to check out the African Queen clutch which sells for $1530 (see photo below from the LV website).

The LV Kalahari PM bag from the LV Spring 2009 collection is a bit pricey for $4840 but it is a great bag (see photo below from LV website).
