Answering request for Miss Sixty information...
The Miss Sixty Fall 2009 Ready To Wear collection had quite a few cute dresses. The multi-tiered mini-skirt was adorable. Most of the Fall collection clothes are not yet available for purchase at the Miss Sixty online store website, but you might still want to take a look.
(Photos from style.com) As for the jeans, they were skinny legged. There was also an interesting mix of jumpsuits and shorts.
Miu Miu's Fall 2009 Ready To Wear collection is made for the confident and bold modern woman! This is such a departure from previous collections (even the 2009 Spring RTW collection) where the outfits were targeted for a younger clientele. In fact, Miu Miu's Fall collection is quite reserved and very wearable.

On the runway, the heavier coats and coat-dresses were often worn unbuttoned with the brassieres peeping out. (An oversized tweed jacket is $1390 at Net-a-Porter.) One accessory, the rabbit and wool stole, was worn with many of the outfits. This stole has a band across the hips and really acts more like a vest (note in the above picture, the black band on the third model's hips). This stole is $1080 (Net-A-Porter). The brassiere is $300+ (depending on the color and style) with matching panties for $200+ more.

There were also some soft feminine silhouettes in the collection. The models wore these long (almost mid-calf) dresses or skirts and exuded confidence with a touch of sensuality. Such attitude! Makes you want to have some of that too! (Some of these dresses are not yet available so there is no pricing information.)

As for bags and shoes, the style is very clean. There were a lot of clutches on
the runway. The one in the above picture is $750 at Net-A-Porter. The ankle-strap boots and heels are beautiful! Even the backs of these shoes look good with the straight line trim. Some heels had gone exotic with fur trims. The (4.5" heels) ankle-strap boots in the above picture are $720 at Net-A-Porter. The (4.5" heels) ankle-strap pumps are $570.
The snood is on the Fall 2009 runways. Designer houses such as Burberry, Missoni, Donna Karan and Hermès are using this accessory with wonderful flare! The snood (which is an archaic word for some sort of headgear) is really a tubular scarf.
As for some of these snoods, like the Missoni ones, you can easily use them as hoods. The snoods are probably quite warm but if you have a very neat hairsprayed coiffure, you might pick and choose when you would want to wear the snood. It is difficult to be elegant and put on or take off these things! Of course, if you are going on a ski trip, sure! On the other hand, if you have long beautiful tousled hair where you can non-chalantly flip your tresses over the snood, then by all means! Very romantic gesture!!
Also, you gentlemen can fashion a snood. For example, Burberry's male models sported the snood in the Fall 2009 RTW collection (see picture below). They look quite handsome with the accessory! Not sure if the hair problem applies to you though!

Bottega Veneta's Fall 2009 Ready To Wear collection is rich simple elegance. You can watch the collection's video on style.com. As usual, the focus is on the Bottega handbags and the ones that stand out are the Karung bags!
